At Wellspring Lactation, our mission is to walk beside families every step of the way. From preparing for baby during pregnancy, to navigating the early days of feeding, through challenges and milestones, and all the way to weaning. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care that empowers mothers and families to feed their babies with confidence, peace, and joy. By blending clinical expertise with heartfelt support, we create a nurturing environment where families feel understood, encouraged, and equipped to provide the best possible start for their little ones.

About Me
Chelle Reitz
RN - IBCLC
Caring for mothers and babies has been my calling for as long as I can remember. As a Registered Nurse with over 21 years of experience in mother-baby care—including labor and delivery, postpartum, childbirth education, and lactation—I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families during some of their most tender moments. With more than 10 years of experience as an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant), I’ve focused on helping moms feel confident, supported, and empowered in their feeding journey.

Beyond my professional experience, I’m also a proud mom of two wonderful daughters. I know firsthand the joys and challenges that come with motherhood, and that personal journey deepens my passion to support other moms. Nothing brings me greater joy than watching a mom overcome challenges, see her baby thrive, and experience the comfort of those sweet snuggles. It would be an honor to walk alongside you and your family as you navigate breastfeeding, pumping, and all the beautiful ups and downs along the way.
Kathie Bousu
Retired, Always Treasured
I am so grateful to have met Kathie.
Looking back about 14 years, it’s amazing to remember us chatting away during hospital orientation — who would have guessed where that conversation would lead? From that day forward, Kathie has been a true inspiration — a wonderful mentor, a wealth of knowledge, and most of all, a very dear friend.
There are so many wonderful memories of working together. Through the tough, tougher, and even some silly, fun times- she always showed passion for helping families. Kathie brought joy, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every family she supported. Her thoughtful wisdom, and her ability to bring hope and healing have made an incredible impact — not only on the families she served, but on anyone lucky enough to work along side her.
You will be missed more than words can say, Kathie. Thank you for everything you’ve given to me, families, and to Wellspring. Wishing you nothing but the best in this next chapter — may it be full of adventure, rest, laughter, and everything that brings you joy.
